Karissa and Alec’s Madison, WI session was so distinctly them. Ten minutes in, Karissa went without shoes, because that’s just who she is! They love picnics at the park, go to the farmers market and find the best places to eat some good food.

Our original plan of getting some buns from their favorite restaurant, Morris Ramen, may not have worked out but these photos tell you everything you need to know about these two. They’re in love and SO fun to be around.

We started our night at Olbrich Park and had the west side of the park all to ourselves! We even got to say hi to a duck family near the docks. The warm night kicked off the start of summer in Wisconsin and we were so thankful for it. After getting our fill of the park, we headed over to the Capitol Square for a city feel. After being cold for so long, the city finally felt alive with people. Tulips had bloomed and the string lights were up. Summer is here!

Of course they had to get ramen after our session, because there’s no other way to do it! I can’t wait for their up-north Wisconsin, disco wedding at Karissa’s parent’s cabin this fall.
