Rachel + Chris did something for their wedding day not many people would think of. They had a surprise New Year’s Eve wedding! And pulled it off flawlessly. We started the day early with getting ready at a local Airbnb in Milwaukee, they got to have their first look and private vows in their official wedding outfits and then changed into engagement party outfits to pull the surprise off! Their guests were told they were attending a New Year’s Eve engagement party, so they came ready to party. Then, about an hour into the party, Rachel + Chris made the exciting announcement that they would actually be getting married that day!

Tables and chairs were rearranged, drinks were poured, and outfits were changed. Rachel + Chris had one of the best ceremonies I’ve ever attended. Maybe it was from the drinks beforehand, but their guests clapped and cheered as they said their vows to each other. It was an incredibly special moment I loved getting to be a part of. We partied all night and they closed out the night with a New Year’s Eve kiss to seal the deal.
