Wedding Photography

My work is grounded in the emotion of the moment. Belly-aching laughter, letting the tears fall, people squeezing each other like they'll never see each other again. I'm documenting every moment as it happens so people and their loved ones can come back to the images for years to come and feel every one of those original feelings. On wedding days, the two people getting married are only part of the story, and this time with your favorite people is sacred. 

Why film? Film is something I love so much for so many reasons. With digital photography, we can try over and over again to get the same photo, we can see it on the monitor and criticize what could be better until we’re blue in the face. Film allows us to capture a moment and not over-analyze it. That’s why I believe film has the ability to pull out such strong emotions from us. I’m not trying over and over again to capture the perfect hand placement or make your dress flow the right way. Its captured just the way it was in that moment and can so quickly take you back there.
